Attention – Wave Xpress
Pool & Spa Water Test Systems (SuperBase Software version 9.0 or
higher)
As of December 31, 2010, Home Port will DISCONTINUE
software support for The Wave Xpress Pool & Spa Water Test System.
A completely new, feature packed software package, named “Pool
Watch”, was introduced to the industry in January of 2009 with great response. The biggest advantage will be more accurate
scanning, giving much improved test results. Your current Wave Xpress scanner is compatible with the new
Pool Watch software.
If
you are in doubt about whether or not your current software applies to the upgrade, please call us ASAP for clarification.
Hardware specification to run the new
Pool Watch software: minimum of Windows XP w/512 MB RAM, Vista 2 GB RAM or Windows 7, 32 bit 4GB RAM, and a high-speed Internet
connection. (strongly recommended)
As with your current computer a true legacy LPT parallel printer
port must be installed for the Wave Xpress.
Option #1 – Use your current Wave Xpress Scanner
This upgrade is $465.00, which includes the New Pool Watch Software, cleaning and re-calibration
of your current scanner to the new software, and conversion of your customer database to work with the new software.
****Please send your Wave Xpress Scanner (s) in as soon
as possible for your scanner maintenance and re-calibration service. For best testing results purchase your year’s supply
of test strips when you return your scanner for maintenance and re-calibration. We will calibrate your scanner to those test
strips. Scanners received after March may be delayed a minimum of 2 weeks before return.
Option #2 – Purchase a brand new Wave Xpress Scanner (white scanner)
This upgrade is $690.00, which includes a new Wave Xpress
Scanner, the new Pool Watch Software and conversion of your customer database to work with the new software.
Option #3 – Purchase a brand new Wave III Scanner
(black scanner)
This upgrade is $1075.00,
which includes the new Wave III Scanner, the new Pool Watch Software and conversion of your customer database to work with
the new software.
All of the above options include
the Technical Support program for one year.
The Pool Watch Software is licensed software and needs to be registered with Home Port each year.
Renewal of the license AFTER the first year is $100.00.
Technical Support AFTER the first year: At that time, you may wish to purchase the Technical Support
for an additional $60.00. (Wave III Scanner) Technical Support for the Wave Xpress Scanner
is $160.00 includes a cleaning and re-calibration of your scanner.

- Technical Phone Support on related issues with The Wave Xpress
scanner and software installed on the “original” computer and peripherals.
- Software updates
- Winter Scanner Tune-Up and calibration
Issues NOT covered under
Technical Support…(billed at $60.00 per hour, 1/2 hr min)
1. Re-install
of Pool Watch Software resulting from computer crash or transfer to a different computer.
2. Any networking
issues. A networked system must be up and running before any installation of our software and hardware.
3. Issues arising from new printer installation (mainly caused by an all-in-one printer)
4. New installation
