System Requirements System
Requirements:
an IBM PC or compatible computer with Operating
System: Windoes 2000,
XP or Vista A
High Speed Internet connection is strongly recommended. Memory: at least 256MB RAM, 512MB are recommended. Display: a VGA monitor and a high color display
card (32,000 colors). A
true color display card. Drives: a hard disk drive with at least 45MB free storage capacity.
A CD ROM drive. Parallel Port: an active LPT parallel port on the
motherboard or a PCI parallel port card for desktops or ExpressCard for laptops. Home Port can supply both. A USB to parallel 25 pin adapter will not work! Please call us before you purchase a computer! Printer: a sheet fed ink jet or laser printer
(a combination printer/scanner is compatible only when connected to the USB port). If your current computer does not have the required parallel port connection, we can supply
the necessary hardware to make your computer fully compatible with the Wave System. See parallel port cards below.
Home Port can provide a refurbished desktop or laptop computer with the Wave System fully
installed and ready to go.
